I respectfully acknowledge that this practice is located on the traditional territory of Xučyun (Huichin), the ancestral and unceded land of the Chochenyo speaking Ohlone people. Xučyun extends from what is now known as the Berkeley hills to the Bay Shore, and from West Oakland to El Cerrito. This territory encompasses what we now recognize as five Bay Area cities - all of Alameda, Berkeley, Emeryville, El Cerrito, and most of Oakland. I honor and pay my respects to the Ohlone people, past and present, and recognize their enduring connection to this land, and encourage any person of Ohlone decent who wishes to consult with me to use the NOTAFLOF program liberally.
